This park game drives which give you an opportunity of seeing various wild life like the Zebras, impala, Enland, Defassa, water bucks, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Leopard, Hyena, Topi, and reedbuck and during drying seasons most of these Animals converge around the swamps and lakes.
The park is also surrounded by Banyankole; a culture related with Long horn cattle, a cultural center is located just outside the park near the Sanga gate. A visit to this center will take you through their amazing culture and their way of life.

The government body responsible for managing the Lake Mburo National Park is the Uganda Wildlife Authority together with the Uganda tourism Board with support from several wildlife conservation Agencies. The park entrance of Lake Mburo National Park is 40 Usd, although there are some other option activities like the boat trip which cost 30 Usd, walking Safari to get close to the animals escorted by a range at cost 15 Usd and Birding at a cost of 30 Usd.
The main Activity of Lake Mburo being game drives and nature walks, it makes it an all-time rounder. As of 1st January 2018, nationals of all countries receive a visa on arrival at Entebbe International Airport and all land borders.
Lake Mburo National park can be reached by air and road. The nearest airport and link to the park is Entebbe international airport in Uganda’s capital Kampala. Uganda Airlines, RwandAir, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airways, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and KLM all have flights to Entebbe international Airport. There after you can connect to Lake Mburo by road transport being that it’s the nearest National park to the main city of Uganda Kampala
